No.2 is smaller in size and can be either hung in a more intimate space or lean on a display shelf. Slight hints of purple peak their way through the predominantly green and beige palette.
This series was created from an intuitive approach to mark-making, the shapes and lines formed from one’s recollection of landscape, rather than from direct imagery. The working process blends both unintentional and intentional marks, demonstrating a push and pull between painter and paint. Much like the push and pull of the tides.
